BESPOKE DESIGNS
 
Everything about your big day says something about the people you are. From the dress to the cake, from the cars to the flowers. Each chosen to suit your own style and personality. So why put up with mass produced stationery lacking individuallity? The answer- because you didn't think it was possible to have a range of wedding stationery and accessories designed especially for you at a price you could afford.
BUT YOU CAN!
 
At ' By Wendy' we pride ourselves on the ability of our designer to develop a unique, bespoke design to truly relest the personality of our clients, their tastes and wedding theme. However, although our imagination has no bounds we know your bank account probably does which is why we aim to provide you with high quality, luxury, hand crafted stationery at an affordable price.
 
How do we work?
 
When you show an interest in our bespoke design service we will contact you by email &/or telephone to arrange a one-to-one consultation with our designer. This can be in the comfort of your own home or via the telephone and is free of charge (although we do have to make a nominal charge for travel costs  if you choose an 'at home' consultation and live outside of a 20 mile radius of our location in Northumberland).
 
The One-to-one Design Consultation.
 
At your consultation we will discuss the venue, theme, style, colours etc of your wedding. It can be useful for us to see material swatches for bridesmaid dresses, pictures of dresses etc at this point ot help us colour coordinate your stationery as closely as possible.
Your designer will then show you examples of previous designs to guage your style (classic, contempoary, funky etc) and will talk you through the choices of embellishments you might like. We'll also dicuss any particular ideas you may have about your stationery as we firmly believe you should be in integral part of the design process.
Your designer will be able to guide you on types of card, ribbon, inserts available and answer any questions you may have about wedding stationery in general.
 
Your bespoke design.
 
Once you know each other, your designer will be able to come up with a few preliminary 'working' designs.
At this point you can select either one design to have made up into 3 coordinating sample items (e.g. a day invitation, a menu and a place card), or you can opt to have 3 day invitations made up in 3 different designs. All this for only a small charge of £10 to cover the cost of materials and postage & packing.
Once we've produced your design (usually within 7-14 days) we'll send it out to you with a price list for coordinating items in the same design. 
 
Placing your order.
 
When we send your samples, we'll also enclose an order form to complete and return if you decide to place an order. At this point we will require a 50%  deposit to purchase the materials and book a production slot. This desposit is non-refundable as the materials purchased are specially ordered to suit your design and not held in stock.
Once your order is recieved, we will send you a written confirmation showing the estimated delivery date of your order (this may be split if you order items such as table plans as these cannot be made until you have finalised your seating arrangements). We will also tell you how much your outstanding balance is. This will need to be paid when your order is ready for dispatch (a few days prior to your delivery date).
