Choosing the wording for your stationery
Deciding upon the wording for the inserts for your wedding stationery can be a very confusing process. Follow our guidelines to chose the appropriate wording for your circumstances.

Step 1: decide whether you would prefer a traditional, formal wording style or a more informal style. Click here for examples of traditional & informal wording.

Step 2: The wording in a traditional style wedding invitation depends upon who is hosting the wedding and their relationship to the bride however today, hosts can be the groom’s parents, the bride & groom themselves or other relatives.
Folllow the links below to see wording best suited to your own circumstances.

Of course, you may want to write your own invitation wording, no problem – just let us know and we'll format it for you.

Note: You can replace the phrase 'honour of your presence' (tends to be used for religious ceremonies) by 'pleasure of your company'.
